Our client is the company that the big players work with for their more complex and demanding projects, so expect to be challenged with the latest technologies and a need to build your interfaces allowing for the latest in digital ability. You will be working on products which many companies will not be using for years, so a future focused mindset is a must. 

You'll be working with companies across the globe on projects for Robotics, Machine Learning, and other digital innovation topics. From the Mountains of Japan to the valleys of California. You don't need to speak Japanese though, don't worry.   The role: 

  • Development of interfaces on Industrial and Digital products, including Protoyping, analysis, and testing. 
  • Development of concepts and practices for User Centred principles on hardware. 
  • Be innovative. You won't always have examples to follow or copy, some of the things you will be building will have no real life comparison yet. 
  • Close collaboration with UX designers and engineers, sometimes remotely across the world. 


  • Experience in the field of Computer Science, Machine learning, or Automation
  • Experience in the field of HMI, PLC, or Mechatronic Control Software
  • Knowledge of User Centred Architecture/Design  - You wont be a designer, but you'll need to get what they do 
  • Enthusiasm for building things which may have not been built before
  • Experience with SCADA is a big advantage 
  • Fluent English
