Are you looking for a challenging job in Industry 4.0? Would you like to work in the manufacturing sector? Context :

As Azure DevOps Engineer, you would ensure automated deployment and high availability of the cloud applications of the company in the headquarters in Biel.
You will be reporting to the Head of Innovation and R&D Manager and working in the Agile environment.
Moreover, you will be delivering cloud applications for the IoT environment.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement tools and processes to facilitate the deployment of the cloud applications
Automate and manage deployment, testing, and continuous integration of the cloud applications
Create new processes to measure the application's effectiveness and detect areas for the improvement
Collaborate with the respective stakeholders to ensure the applications environments follow the security guidelines and standards
Work in collaboration with 2nd level support to identify and solve customer incidents

Desired Profile:

Bachelors / Masters in informatics, system engineering, computer science, or similar
Min. 5 years of experience in software engineering
Proven experience and a strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Agile Methodologies
Experience with automation tools, CI/CD, and Puppet
Very good knowledge of programming languages: Java, C# or C++
Handling continuous integration environments using build server solutions like MS Azure, DevOps, Atlassian, Bamboo, Jenkins
Fluent in English and any other language like French, German, or Italian is considered a plus
Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, unit-testing, and test-driven development

Desired Soft Skills:

Strong impersonal and communication skills
Open and positive attitude
Customer-oriented thinking
