Our Partner, a prestigious Corporate/Investment Bank in Zurich - Switzerland is looking for a: Financial Markets Analyst (100%, m/f)   Your responsibilities: _________________________________________________________________________  
  • Perform credit analysis of a selected number of local and international financial institutions, corporates and review these periodically. The portfolio is focused on global, Russian, and CIS markets
  • Manage the internal (Moscow + Zurich) credit approval process of various types of financial market limits
  • Compilation of covenants for ISDA and GMRA agreements being concluded between the Bank and its counterparties – financial institutions and corporates;
  • Ongoing monitoring of markets, credit metrics, regulatory developments, etc. with respect to existing counterparties
  • Perform, as required, country analyses and manage the setting of country limits
  • Perform credit analysis and periodically review insurance companies relevant to the Bank’s Trade Finance and Structured Finance business
  • Ensure that the Bank has at all times the required credit limits for financial market transactions in place to conduct ordinary banking operations (e.g. Money Market, FX and IR management)
  • Perform reporting duties with respect to the Bank’s exposure to Financial Institutions and Global Market counterparties
  • Participation in the Group’s and local committees
  • Contribute, on an ad-hoc basis, to multi-disciplinary projects
  • The role requires strong interaction with Business and Risks Units within the Group
  Your profile:   _________________________________________________________________________  
  • University degree in Mathematics/Economics/Finance/Banking or equivalent combined with at least seven years of relevant banking experience in a similar position
  • Proven track record in financial analysis of corporate and financial institution sectors, credit & risk management and ISDA/GMRA composing
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and treasury products. Knowledge of commodity markets an advantage
  • Excellent written, spoken and presentation skills in English and Russian. German language skills an advantage
  • Independent working, pro-active, self-motivated and result driven. Meticulous, detail oriented, able to set and manage priorities and to work under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • IT literate notably with Excel as well as Bloomberg, Reuters terminals
  • Interested in developing a career in a new, fast paced, international banking operation
