IT Helpdesk 1st Level Randstad Professionals are one of the leading recruitment companies in Switzerland and with a dedicated IT contracting team in Zurich. We are excited to help you in your search. We focus on finding the best contracts for the best contractors. Currently we are looking for an IT Helpdesk 1st Level, to join our client’s team in Zurich. Main tasks:
  • Answer/respond to incoming requests and resolve customers incidents and problems
  • Act as a single point of contact for resolution of issues
  • Document customer requests in call/incident tracking system
  • Interact with customers co-workers in EMEA to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems locally and remotely
  • Support feature, functionality, and usage of specific applications
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware problems
  • Provide level 1 and 2 technical support
  • Stay current on and adhere to established policies, procedures and documentation
Technical Skills:
  • A degree in Business and/or Information Systems and/or MCSE, MCP or recognized IT professional qualification
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk delivery in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and decision making ability
  • Strong enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Self-motivation and organization
  • Ability to learn and apply technical information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Solid technical understanding including: Microsoft software, active directory, hardware, mobile phones (iOS), etc.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of IT Support fundamentals. ITIL experience and knowledge is a definite plus.
Required minimal profile:
  • • 1-2 years IT Helpdesk or first internship
  • • Support in a multi-national environment
  • Fluent in English and German (preferred)
  • Other languages are a plus
