Your role:

Within the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) Process Expertise team located at Corsier-sur-Vevey (Vaud), you will support the manufacturing of clinical or commercial products by ensuring appropriate process control to deliver expected process performance and product quality .

Your role will be:

· To establish and maintaining process control strategies for products manufactured on the site

· To bring scientific and technical expertise to manufacturing teams in case of process excursion or issue

· To lead process improvement or life cycle management projects

· To lead or participate in implementation of new technologies on manufacturing process

· To support technology transfers in the site production suites

· To manage raw material life cycle management/ changes

Your tasks will include process investigations and troubleshooting, management of process changes in a GMP environment, definition or updates of process control strategies, establishment of process maps, sampling plans, writing protocols and reports.

This position will be an opportunity to reinforce your knowledge and expertise in biotech processes from upstream production with mammalian cells to purification, viral clearance and raw materials.

  • qualifications

    Your profile:

    · Master Degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or related topic with 3 years of experience in manufacturing or R&D

    · Excellent knowledge of upstream and/or downstream biotech processes

    · Awareness of current GMP guidelines and knowledge of regulatory requirements and submissions (IMPD/IND/BLA)

    · Excellent planning and organizational skills

    · Excellent communication skills

    · Fluent in English & French ? both spoken and written
