On behalf of our estimated client, multinational company operating in fashion industry, we are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Manager. The figure has to combine technical and leadership aspects inside a creative and fast-paced environment, being the head of Accounts Payable department and reporting directly to the Finance Director. 

His/Her main responsibilities will be linked, but not limited to:

- lead and manage the Accounts Payable department, providing leadership, support, training, performance management and development for the team

- oversee the process and of invoice booking: promptly secure all necessary approvals and appropriate coding while meeting high standards of accounting accuracy and VAT requirements

- ensure an accurate and efficient management of all daily, weekly and monthly tasks to ensure completion within the designated deadlines

- develop and maintain relevant KPIs to improve the management and visibility of invoice processing activities, including payments, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and timely

- liaise with creditors and employees (including operations, finance and procurement) both verbally and in writing to resolve payment invoice processing issues

- overview T&E expenses process in accordance with internal policies and local fiscal requirements

- support the Accounts Payable team members with the development and implementation of new processes as well as improvements to existing processes

- ensure supplier statement reconciliations are performed on a timely basis following receipt

- ensure that all month-end tasks are completed accurately and by the assigned deadlines

- ensure that the Accounts Payable filing and archiving processes are completed in a timely manner



- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Shared Services experience is desirable

- Very good knowledge of Excel (pivot table, formulas, Vlookups)

- Fluency in English is required. Any additional language skills is a plus

- Experience with JDE Oracle is highly desirable
