This interesting role is responsible for establishing and heading up a class-leading pricing function within LKQ Europe operating directly from the Heart of Zug.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building a class-leading pricing organization based on the LKQ Functional Design outcome
  • Stakeholder Management and change management across the organization and functions
  • Own and drive strategic agenda for pricing
  • Ensure transparency and gain awareness on all pricing related topics (need and power of pricing)
  • Translating LKQ Europe performance targets into specific pricing priorities, tactics, and roadmap
  • Driving price optimization activities to improve EBIT
  • Driving pricing excellence and strategic priorities
  • Implementing a harmonized, technology-based pricing methodology (pricing engine)
  • Keeping the pricing organization focused on deliverables and ?removing roadblocks'

Key Decision Rights:

  • Allocation of functional pricing organization budget
  • Alignment with other functions on cross-functional processes
  • Setting of priorities within the pricing function
  • Performance goals for pricing team members
  • Pricing strategy/priority setting
  • Pricing process & methodology
  • Pricing corridors as guardrails for local sales

People Management:

  • Build, lead and develop the Pricing team on European and Regional level
  • Ensure talent management and capability building
  • Ensure exchange of best practices and an effective balance between European Category Pricing and Regional Pricing


Key and Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree or higher in Business, Finance or related subject
  • Team builder (looking out for employees)
  • Strong influencer and excellent communication in English, other additional European languages beneficial
  • Experience in change management
  • Solid level of pricing knowledge (or related fields such as commercial excellence/ margin management/ analytics)
  • Solid level of business understanding (or bringing fresh insights from other businesses)
  • 5+ years of leading a commercial team/ function and experience in working and leading international teams
  • Able to hold both strategic as well as operational conversations
