DePuy Synthes Finance Organization is looking for a Cost Analyst for Synthes Manufacturing Controlling. The role is available immediately and based in Zuchwil or Mezzovico, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports and analysis comparing actuals to budget / latest estimates
  • Interpreting variances to develop appropriate corrective actions and to understand trends and impacts
  • Identifying and effectively communicating any trends and impacts from analyses to business partners
  • Serving as an expert on standard cost development, driving the business plan process to establish new standards and delivering spend analyses
  • Developing and publishing cost savings scorecards and other ad hoc reporting
  • Preparing net cost change analyses
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for improving finance processes; partnering with the site leadership team and colleagues to assess and implement recommendations in a timely and effective manner

qualification

Who we are looking for:

  • University/Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business/Economics/Finance
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Finance or Controlling
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • High level of proficiency in SAP and with Excel
  • Strong team player that enjoys working with multiple business partners
  • Result and performance driven
  • Ability to work in a timeline driven environment, flexibility and sense of priority to handle tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German and Italian would be an advantage

This role based in Solothurn or Mezzovico, Switzerland will initially be limited to approx. 12 months, with the option for an extension.
