Project Coordinator / Manager 100% (temporary) 

Our Client which was founded in the 1920s a global leader in musculoskeletal healthcare. They design, manufacture and market orthopaedic reconstructive products; sports medicine, biologics, extremities and trauma products; spine, bone healing, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic products; dental implants; and related surgical products.


They are headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana, USA and are looking for a Project Coordinator / Manager 100% for the European Headquarter, based in Winterthur (CH)


In this position, you are responsible for the project coordination of all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans as part of our clients Institute EMEA: the Medical Education, Consultant Management and Grants arm of our client in EMEA. In addition, you will be fully responsible for Educational Site Visits (ESV) and EMEA Tours modalities management. You will be working closely with ZBI team members and country business partners to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.


Your main responsibilities:   

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

  • Liaise with stakeholders internally to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

  • Help track budgets and timetables and monitor project progress

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

  • Ensure the instructional integrity of course development projects through systematic design and clear writing of goals, objectives, assessments, content, storyboards, etc

  • Conduct accurate learning needs analysis to ensure appropriateness of instructional materials at each event in close interaction with the learning development team

  • Work closely with a diverse group of internal and external individuals including surgeons, Product and Brand Managers, Country Managers, distributors, RVP’s and senior management to develop unique programs for ESVs and EMEA Tours modalities


Your Qualifications and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably including formal studies in education and/or business required

  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar function

  • Experience working directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts and professional staff in medical device or healthcare industry preferred.

  • Experience in strategic planning of medical education functions, generating new ideas to enhance customer skills and learning.

  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills as well as solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills

  • Languages: fluent in English and German


Travel Requirements:
