An exciting new opportunity has arisen to be a part of a project to build State-Of-The-Art Biotech Development Facility in Switzerland.

Your role: Lead the specification, implementation, commissioning, qualification and operation of process automation activities for a biopharmaceutical development and cGMP clinical production plant. The candidate will assess and implement relevant existing and emerging industry and company standards. This role will collaborate with process equipment vendors and engineering companies to drive integration of the equipment into Automation system. The candidate will develop, implement, and maintain IT/OT integration solutions that enable next level of digitalization maturity in our plant and implement 'Connected Plant' (vertically integrated OT Assets and IT Systems).


  • Graduate engineering degree in industrial automation, robotics, or equivalent
  • Engineering experience (ideally 5-9 years) in industrial automation (Life Science preferred)
  • Several years (ideally 4+) of experience with Emerson DeltaV system
  • Several years (ideally 2+) of experience with Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) and SCADA systems (GE iFIX /Wonderware InTouch/ Siemens WinCC)
  • Several years (ideally 2+) of experience with Siemens Desigo BMS system
  • Several years (ideally 2+) of experience with Process Data Historians (OSIsoft PI preferred)
  • IT/OT integration (e.g. OT in virtual environments, industrial networks, network segmentation, Active Directory for OT assets)
  • Understanding of well-known processes in Upstream, Downstream, Media/Buffer preparation and Utilities areas (Single Use preferred)
  • Biotech industry experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred
  • Integration with MES system experience is a plus (Werum PAS-X preferred)
  • Business-fluent English, French would be an asset
