For our client Nestlé based in Vevey, we are looking for an immediate onboarding a

Graphic Designer Junior (100% - 1 year contract)

Position Summary

Support the development, application and communication of design excellence for the Dairy SBU and its portfolio of brands. Champion Nestlé ways of working in the area of brand building and strategic design.

A day in a life of a Graphic Designer Junior:

  • Working in a team environment with multiple projects concurrently, assists with the creative execution of integrated design projects from concept to production with hands-on design inputs ranging from preparing senior stakeholder presentations to applying brand identity standards to mock up conceptual directions for internal discussion. While final designs will be developed by agency partners, role supports the internal alignments and communication in support of SBU design-related decisions
  • Acts as Nestlé Content Hub champion for the SBU, training all relevant SBU teams and functions involved in brand building on relevant features, functionalities, ways of working, and knowledge to facilitate the publishing and sharing of Brand Guidance, Master files and Brand Assets for Global Brands managed by the SBU
  • Champions D2D ways of working and tools adoption/usage within the Dairy SBU, and acts as single point of contact for Markets and Zones on asset availability and D2D usage queries. Coordinates with relevant SBU approvers to ensure on-time validations or approvals related to Market or Zone requests submitted via Content Hub
  • Acts as single point of contact for training (external) Strategic Agency Partners on BBNW and SBU ways of working, including facilitating/controlling external agency access rights to Content Hub-based workflows, assets, and guidance
  • Supports SBU Global Brand Guardians in the development and sharing of Brand Communication Standards (BCS) and related digital or PDF-based guidance in accordance with Global BCS Guidance
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring Global Brand proprietary colors are identified and documented as per Nestlé Color Standards, and made available in each BCS and via Content Hub
  • Manages and monitors Usage Rights of all SBU-related assets (photography, illustration, typography etc.) to ensure all shared assets have required usage rights or contacts for rights extensions
  • Continuously monitors Content Hub and D2D Dashboards and usage trends to identify ways to improve adoption or usage by SBU as well as recipient Zones/Markets
  • Partners with Group Marketing to share feedback, anticipate future needs, and review optimization opportunities for Design and Digital Asset creation, and the ecosystem of features, functionalities, and tools within Content Hub relevant to the SBU.


  • 3 years experience in designing brands and packaging, and 2 years exposure to managing digital and design asset creation, ideally including web design and UX experience
  • Minimum 2 years in packaging design and related asset creation, with strong understanding of file requirements, workflows, color management, typography, and usage rights management
  • Proactive mindset, can-do attitude, problem-solver
  • At ease and confident working with agility and with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent project management skills, and proficiency in core design tools (Adobe CS)
  • Video editing, web design and UX (User Experience Design) experience
  • Experience working with digital asset management systems and digital workflows
  • Good understanding of strategic and adaptive brand identity and packaging design for FMCG packaging
  • High standard of English (written & spoken)
