In this interesting role as an Application Specialist you are working for a global FMCG company that acts as a local Swiss company.

Description of the role:

In this diverse role, you will be focusing on the successful delivery of a variety of IT solutions. You will be working closely together with the business functions, your three colleagues in the Applications team, and our suppliers. You will have a lot of freedom to shape the role and many opportunities to develop yourself. 

Your profile:

• Preferably, some functional knowledge of SAP (ECC SD module incl. Pricing & Conditions)

• Preferably, good knowledge of Excel

• Specialist in at least one domain

• Inhouse experience

• Team player with good communication skills, perseverance, open-minded

• Self-starter and strong intrinsic motivation to make the difference

• Can-do mentality, eager to learn and develop yourself

• Analytical thinking skills, paired with a solution-oriented and flexible way of working

• A strong customer-oriented focus keeping the end-to-end process in mind

• Languages: English (fluent) and German (preferred a minimal B1 level)

• Completed study (university or other higher vocational certificate), preferably in the field of business informations

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Providing end-to-end application support to the business departments and colleagues, in close collaboration with the business process owners and key users

• Deep dive on specific topics, and define improvement plans 

• Support the business transformation from legacy SAP ECC to S/4HANA global template

• Support the replacement of legacy applications with new state-of-the-art applications 

• Participate in projects and lead improvement initiatives
