On behalf of our Client, an historical and first-class Bank all over Switzerland, we are currently looking for a

System Engineer Middleware & Backup Specialist

in order to strengthen its structure in Tessin.

Her/His main tasks and responsibilities will be linked (but not limited) to:

  • IT systems integration and engineering
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Monitor and test application performance
  • Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Liaise with IT personnel for problem resolution

qualification

  • Academic path in IT/Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in similar positions regarding IT systems integration and engineering, preferably inside the banking/financial sector
  • Administration, deployment, troubleshooting and performance related to the following technologies:
    • IBM AIX & pSeries
    • Backup Systems (IBM libraries / Spectrum protect in PB8 virtual environment / sgklm)
    • Electronic filing / storage Systems (IBM content manager Ondemand in PB8 virtual environment)
    • scripting and automation in Bourne / Korn / Bash shell, Powershell, Perl and PHP
    • Linux (RedHat, SUSE)
    • Server Web (Apache) and WAF (Modsecurity)
    • Java Middleware (Apache Tomcat, IBM Websphere ND / Liberty Profile)
    • Containerized platforms (Docker & Kubernets)
    • Continuous Integration & Deployment (GIT / Jenkins / Maven / Nexus / Ansible)
    • Network and Global Load Balancers (F5 BIGIP, Kemp)
    • PKI (Open SSL)
    • Web Proxy and mail relay (Squid, Postfix)
    • Pega PRPC
    • Directory Services (Open LDAP, AD)
  • Ability to work on various activities by giving the correct priority
  • Developed communication skills
  • Italian and English speaker is a must; any other national language would be a plus
  • CH-Resident or already in possess of valid CH-Work Permit
