job description

Responsible to plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and qualifications. Responsible for developing and supporting training programs through the analysis of investigation trends and audit observations. In addition, is also responsible to provide a support and for training end users on the Learning Management system and is responsible for working with internal and external customers to ensure compliant use of the systems.



  • Develop, maintain and streamline processes related to competences and training management program, identify improvement opportunities and develop respective documentation (SOP/WKIs);

  • Develop, implement and maintain Qualification Programs for internal customers (create exams, provide train-the-trainer training, user guides, etc.);

  • Act as the function point-of-contact with regard to the Learning Management System and respective qualification programs;

  • Support users and administrators in regards to Learning Management System, initiate improvement of the system to meet the business and users’ needs;

  • Identify and develop curriculum as well as design and assist authors and subject matter experts to create course contents (training manuals, online learning modules, etc.) within the training system;

  • Organise and deliver training sessions on training solutions and quality systems using class room training, hands-on training and other training formats;

  • Monitor and evaluate training programs and records to ensure they are current and effective. Provide training system metrics as needed as part of quality management reviews;

  • Coordinating enrolment of new employees to ensure their training and access to QA Systems.

  • Ensure that Qualification Matrices for which in charge are up-to date, reviewed and approved regularly;

  • Coordinating enrolment of new employees to ensure their training.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or University degree

  • 3-5 years related experience with electronic learning management systems required. Experience with MasterControl software is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and applicable regulations (e.g. FD Quality Assurance in a life sciences industry FDA, ICH, ISO, EU, MHRA, etc.).

  • Experience in working with e-learning software is a plus as well is knowledge of SuccessFactors.

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.).

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • English fluent, French an asset.
