Mission The visual design team owns the design system, resources and spec for all verticals in a nee travel applicatoin (Flights, Hotels, Packages, Your Trips, Explore).

The team primary goal is harmonization across all Travel products towards unification and branding. Requiring coordination and collaboration with designers of the individual products as well as the definition of new Visd standards in alignment with standard materials Job responsibilities

  • Create high quality proposals throughout entire design process from concept to production
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering to effectively communicate the value of visual design and brand
  • Maintain and evolve the continued development of the company's design language
  • Developing strong partnerships with and coordinating general assistance to Travel design team
  • Thinking about designing with the brand holistically across multiple surfaces and platforms
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.
  • Work across programs to define, maintain, and evolve the tools, processes, and communication around asset management


  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable
  • Creative problem-solving skills with user-minded approach
  • Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience shipping material design products
  • Experience creating illustrations that communicate complicated topics and processes in a simplified way
  • Experience with motion design and prototyping
