Associate Scientist / Scientist – Targeted Proteomics

The temporary scientist position is within the Proteomics Team in the Biomedical Department to work on in vitro, in vivo and clinical sample on extraction, processing and analysis of proteins using mass spectrometry techniques.

Responsabilities

  • Perform protein extraction from cells, tissues and biological matrices.
  • Run common laboratory instruments (centrifuges, pipettes, etc.).
  • Document activities performed in the lab.
  • Run targeted mass-spectrometry based proteome analysis
  • Perform analysis quality control
  • Perform routine maintenance on Q-Exactive instruments.
  • Creation of results files.
  • Development of sample processing and data acquisition methods.
  • Present results in meetings in English.
  • Contribute to scientific reports

Skills and Competencies

  • Education: PHD or MSC in Life Science
  • Work experience: at least 4 years working in scientific laboratory setting
  • Knowledge in operation of Orbitrap analyzer based instruments, nano-flow liquid chromatography and UHPLC
  • Experience in multiple reaction monitoring/parallel reaction monitoring assay setup
  • Experience in data independent acquisition analysis
  • Good communications skills in English, and good command on the use of Microsoft Office applications.
