Main Responsibilities

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities within the assigned projects in accordance with Company objectives. This includes project planning, executing plans, implementing improvement measures and ongoing support. The Engineering Project Manager will work closely with the functional business partners to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the solutions deployed in support of the business goals and objectives.

  • Support as project coordinator / scheduler for a regulatory project aiming at re-submission of products in China
  • Coordination of change orders in PLM Windchill
  • Develop a process for recording Product Weight in ERP SAP and integrate it in the overall New Product Development process
  • Coordinated execution with Scrum method of activities for the development of Cases & Trays for implants and instruments
  • Track project progress with regard to the accomplishment level of deliverables assigned to cross functional resources
  • Support the definition of project scope and deliverables, milestones and timeline, project risks and contingency plans
  • Collaborates with enterprise-wide business partners to build and execute well-structured program/project plans
  • Use expert communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of the project timelines, milestones and expectations on delivery
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders to identify pain points in procedures and forms, leading to the definition of actions for their improvement
  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times

qualification

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in engineering or life sciences is required
  • 3+ years experience with project management tools, e.g., MS Project, and project management methodologies
  • 2-3 years of experience in European Medical device industry especially with project management, regulatory, quality or engineering
  • Experience with PLM and ERP tools
  • Experience preferred in executing projects with Agile/Scrum and with project execution tools such as Kanban boards
  • Experience in continuous improvement of operation processes is preferred
  • Knowledge of Design History Files and Technical Files, FDA and MDR requirements. Experience with registrations in further global markets would be an asset
  • Strong understanding of Project Risk Management process, change management is desired
  • Proven exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to moderate meetings
  • Fluent in English
