Laboratory Technician?Cellular Laboratories (HCS)

As a Technician - Cellular Laboratories, under the guidance of the Manager of the High Content Screening team, you will be responsible for cell culture maintenance and high throughput cell-based assays execution. You will work with cutting edge technologies to address mechanistic systems toxicology questions while interacting closely with disease experts and experimental scientists.

 

Your specific responsibilities will be:

  • Perform routine cell culture maintenance.
  • Plan and independently perform cell biology laboratory activities for in vitro toxicological assessments.
  • Support/lead the establishment or the optimization of cell-based assay for medium/high throughput profiling.
  • Document and present findings according to internal policies.
  • Write quality documents: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WKIs).
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in team, excellent organizational skill and attention to details.

 

qualification

We are looking for a Laboratory technician, with the following requirements:

  • Lab technician (including Bachelor/Master) with at least five years of practical experience in human cell biology.
  • Solid experience in 2D cell culture (primary and cell lines models) and standard cell-biology techniques (e.g.: cell viability assays, ELISA, etc.).
  • Experience with High Throughput methods (eg: imaging based, reporter cell lines) and laboratory automation tools will be an advantage.
  • Ability to independently plan, perform and document experimental work including literature search and statistical analysis of data.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
