project leader consumables in Zürich

One of our clients specialized in medical devices, and based in the Zürich area, is looking for Project Leader Consumable Medical Device  for a one year contract (very likely to be extended) who will lead one or more projects with external Manufacturing partners in the injection molding area.

Tasks:

• Create and maintain detailed project plans, as well as analyzing their critical paths

• Analyze project risks and manage project mitigations

• Plan, control and monitor the project, its budget and resources according to the plan

• Ensure timely delivery of work packages and their quality, including external partners

• Responsible for project deliverables and documentation

• Lead and manage project teams with 3-5 internal members (matrix organization)

• Promote and manage collaboration with internal interfaces and external (sub) suppliers

• Regular reporting based on project reports, as well as proactive and timely escalate issues and risks

• Proactive collaboration and coordination with peer project managers who work under common management (e.g., in a program organization).

• Participate in supplier development and Assist with supplier audits

• Collaboration or management of Organizational development projects

Profile:

• EITHER university or university degree in medical technology /engineering / natural sciences / technical direction (e.g. mechanical engineering, automation technology / materials technology)

• OR basic technical training (EFZ) in the field of plastics technology, toolmaking, polymechanics or similar with practical experience in the field of plastics, medical technology and in project management is a plus

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the management of complex projects with external partners and suppliers in a manufacturing, strictly regulated company

• Very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written) is required

• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

• Very good knowledge with project management software

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Gsuite

• Knowledge of injection molded parts manufacturing is a plus

• Experience in clean room facilities is a plus

• Experience in the medical sector, especially in in-vitro diagnostics is an advantage (GMP)

• Experience with the design, construction and commissioning of highly automated production facilities is a plus

• Project management certification is a plus
