Quality Assurance Manager (Chemicals)

 

Our client is a global, innovative chemicals production company that has been operating for more than 50 years. Nestled in the Zürich area they are global leaders in the Peptides, amino acid and sugar derivatives space and offer full scale production services from laboratory to tonne-scale bars. In order to strengthen their overall quality organisation they are looking for an independent QA professional.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance ensures the continuous improvement and maintenance of the  Integrated quality management system as well as ensuring compliance across the department.

  • Supporting the production team with quality-relevant processes and questions.

  • Verification of manufacturing protocols and analysis of products and raw materials for sharing purposes.

  • Review manufacturing rules for research and production.

  • Edit product-specific error messages and change requests across interdisciplinary teams, as well as performing CAPAs.

  • Create and maintain SOPs and specifications.

  • Coordination and documentation of hygiene monitoring for the entire company.

  • Participation in the preparation and conduct of official inspections and customer audits.

 

Requirments:

  • Scientific Degree, preferably in Chemistry related field (Bachelors as a Minimum [FH/Uni]).

  • Experience in chemical production or quality assurance within in a Regulated environment (GMP).

  • Technical flair and are ready to get in touch with those produced by us Products and their manufacturing processes.

  • Skilled in dealing with external and internal customers and happy to work with
    interdisciplinary teams to grapple complex problems.

  • An analytical mindset, independent attitude, willingness to make decisions, and
    pragmatic approach to the implementation of problem solutions.

  • Strong command of German and English both spoken and written.
