For our client,a growing company in the medical devices field, we are looking for a: 

Scientific and medical officer for allergy and autoimmune diseases


Location:Canton of Vaud

Contract: Permanent 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Direct the program providing the scientific and medical evidence to support the clinical utility and cost-effectiveness of the products or solutions

  • Serve as an internal expert regarding assigned products or future products by staying up to date with the current publications and relevant scientific, as assigned communications and providing oral and written summaries to internal stakeholders.

  • Direct collaborations with Research and Development (R&D) teams throughout the Product Development Process, providing medical input, scientific support, risk analysis.

  • Manage the evaluation and organization of the scientific literature (publication, abstracts, and posters) related to the products and keeping related documents up to date.

  • Direct the collaboration with commercial teams to support product activities that have medical content, including but not limited to educational materials, symposiums, brochures and KOL interactions, Innovator’s Circle, as assigned.


Your profile:

  • A scientific (MS or PhD) or relevant medical degree (MD, Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant, Immunologist, Allergist, etc)

  • Direct experience with interpretation of autoimmune and allergy test results in patient management

  • Direct experience with laboratory diagnostics, interpretation of autoimmune and allergy test results in patient management

  • Extensive previous experience in a clinical laboratory testing environment, or in management of IVD diagnostic and/or clinical studies.

  • Must have a proven ability to interpret and write scientific information

  • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus

  • Domestic and international travel required (20-30%)
