The Bern site, with its approx. 600 people of over 25 nationalities, acts as a center of expertise for development and manufacturing of innovative cell based viral- and bacterial vaccines and bacterial based therapeutic products.The aim of the position is to support the CAR-T R&D project to support a routine GMP manufacturing process with focus on Downstream process steps.Main Responsibilities:Performing Technology Transfer from sending unit to receiving unitWriting process documents, such as Master Batch Records, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments etc.Supporting routine GMP manufacturing and help in trouble shootingManaging Quality Issues, Root Cause Analysis and InvestigationData verification and data trendingInitiating and implementing of Change ControlsSupporting Compliance team with SOP, WIs, Job aids harmonization initiatives across site qualification Who we are looking for:Master or Bachelor degree in Bio-Engineering / Biotechnology / Biology / BiochemistryExperience in GMP compliant biotechnological manufacturing or developmentExperience in Downstream process steps such as clarifications, chromatography, UF/TFExcellent problem solving and analytical capabilitiesKnowledge in Python and Statistic is a plusTeam player and a personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills Capacity to communicate fluently in English, German is a major plusThis job in Bern, Switzerland will be initially limited to 12 months.
