job description

MAIN TASKS: - Responsible for all aspects of method development, method qualification, sample preparation, chromatography, data acquisition, data analysis and data interpretation using separations, mass spectrometry and software platforms - Responsibilities also include mass spectrometer maintenance, method improvements, providing project support, effectively communicating project progress, writing and update of operating procedures, authoring of analytical reports and maintaining, updating and troubleshooting of LC/MS-(MS) instrumentation - Involvement in the planning of experiments and delivery of results according to budget and project timelines - Data generated in the MS lab will support decision making, similarity/comparability assessments and regulatory interactions up to dossier submission (scientific advice meetings, IND/IMPD, MAA/BLA)

 

PROFILE:  - Bachelor or Master degree in analytical biochemistry or equivalent studies (no phD) - At least 5 years of experience in mass spectrometry in the pharma or biotech industry - Strong background in protein/mAb analytics - Experience in monolocal antibodies  - Experience is preferred with experimental approaches that include, but are not limited to, amino acid sequence determination, intact mass analysis, mapping and quantification of post-translational modifications, glycan mapping, disulfide bonding pattern, fragmentation analysis and identification/quantification of protein contaminants (e.g. HCP)
