For our client Nestrade in Vevey, we are looking for an immediate onboarding a

Procurement Specialist - IT (100% - end on 31.01.2022)

Position Summary

In order to cope with an exceptional workload and some new initiatives, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for IT used by Nestlé worldwide. You will also support the team in defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Procurement Specialist

  • Review sourcing strategies in Marketing & Sales and e-commerce
  • Negotiate with suppliers for on-going projects (Marketing, Sales, E-commerce)
  • Define list of contracts renewals and proceed with extension/negotiation
  • Define contracts for the selected suppliers
  • Support the category Manager for Key Stakeholder management in this area
  • Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, and develop TCO understanding, as well as the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the category, and identify improvements to be targeted
  • Participate in the development of the Above Market Sourcing Strategy
  • Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers (approved by Category Manager)



  • University degree in Procurement, Business Administration and/or Supply Chain
  • 2-3 years of experience in sourcing for different spend categories, ideally gained in IS/IT
  • Exposure to international environment
  • Has experience in one or more spend categories as Sourcing Specialist, using the Strategic Sourcing Process
  • Proven experience in negotiating, concluding strategic deals
  • Fluency in English, Spanish would be a plus
