Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist and control production plants in the capacity review process in order to have the needed capacities available in time and participate in Supply Review Process
  • Control material requirement planning in ERP system for finished products
  • Manage supply constraints and make-to-order process for peak demands like new product launches and tenders with internal and external suppliers
  • Analyze and proactively manage inventory levels to meet business plans and ensure defined service levels. Set and review inventory entitlement parameters
  • Provide supply commits on product availability to enable end-to-end supply visibility
  • Build effective relationships and partnerships with key suppliers
  • Participate in new product launch meetings for assigned projects and ensure timely setup of master data and placement of purchase orders
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics and support Management with reports and data analysis
  • Know and follow all laws and policies to apply to the job and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all time
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Participate in cross functional project teams
  • Act as interface between Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Quality and Operations to support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process

qualification

Who we are looking for:

  • Technical or business education, preferably Supply Chain
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management
  • Basic understanding of supply chain principles
  • Good understanding of ERP systems and information technology
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Strong team player with cross-departmental thinking 
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way. Managing priorities and providing reliable results.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear 
  • Very strong verbal and written English, German is a plus

This role based in Solothurn, Switzerland will initially be limited to approx. 12 months with an option for an extension.
