We are looking for a Project Lead Supply Chain SAP IBP/RCCP (m/f/d) for Lonza AG (100%). This is a temporary position for 24 months.

Remote work from within Switzerland possible, with regular presence days on site.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and deploy the integrated planning (demand and supply) in the integrated SAP R/3 - IBP/RCCP environment for batch production (project step 1)

  • Lead and deploy the integrated planning (demand and supply) in the integrated SAP R/3 - IBP/RCCP environment services/process development (project step 2)

  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams for the transformation of the Supply Chain function of the Lonza Visp site applying SAP Blueprint. For all sub projects this includes the responsibility and accountability for project initiation, planning, execution/implementation, monitoring and close out. Drive the establishment, optimization, governance and oversight.

  • Lead and establish necessary change management measures to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to the SAP Execution Blueprint standards

  • Provide leadership in defining best practices and applying project management standards; ensure that the project is on track and any issues can be proactively managed.

  • Conduct Project Team Meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are working in accordance to the agreed Project Plan

  • Connect to key stakeholders/functions to ensure that the plan meets requirements


  • Bachelors or Master's degree with scientific background (chemistry, pharmacy, biology), or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience within the Supply Chain, ideally in Biotech industry and in Process Development area

  • Deep SAP knowledge in IBP and RCCP, MM and PP modules, as well in master data management (WBS/Recipe/Resources/BOM)

  • Proven expertise in process and system deployment and implementation as well as in continuous improvements

  • Comprehensive and proven Change Management capabilities

  • Ability to oversee and manage complex process and system landscapes considering pharmaceutical requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with managing direct and indirect team structures

  • Demonstrated crisis management skills, delivering under uncertain and high business pressure conditions
