Job Title: Senior IT Security Architect/Engineer

Job Summary:
As a Senior IT Security Architect/Engineer you will take charge of designing and maintaining our IT security architecture. Your role will involve providing crucial support to projects and operational activities while collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, innovation, and development of the IT security architecture, tools, and system landscape in close collaboration with IT management and Group Information Security.
  • Provide support and management for IT projects, particularly during the specification and analysis phases, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Assume ownership of the resolution process for identified potential vulnerabilities and threats, including coordinating and overseeing follow-ups within the IT departments until resolution.
  • Contribute to the development of incident response plans and effectively coordinate responses to security incidents.
  • Assist the SOC team in data collection and analysis.
  • Identify emerging risks and explore innovative IT security technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, monitor security trends and threats, and identify areas for enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • University degree (university/FH) in Computer Science.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Security Engineering.
  • Proficiency in IT Security Tools and scripting languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability and willingness to take on responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
