For the Supply Chain department of our client, Philip Morris International based in Lausanne, we are currently looking to hire a:

Supply Planning Analyst

Temporary assignment

Over the past three years, Philip Morris International has made a dramatic shift away from the marketing and sales of combustible cigarettes, and moved towards its Reduced-Risk Product (RRP) portfolio, focusing on its flagship product, IQOS. This product is PMI's step forward to creating a smoke-free future for legal age consumers who want to continue to enjoy tobacco, but are seeking smoke-free alternatives. To support this shift, PMI has embarked on an organization-wide transformation in ways of working, culture, and strategy.

Demand Planning:

- Analysis of the demand trend in the past in the different markets of PMI Duty Free (worldwide).- Submit a sales forecast based on monthly basis.- Link the sell-out in the market with the sell-in at distributor level.- High relationship with markets & Factory to deal with on daily basis.

Monitor Inventory Level:

- Follow production planning of the portfolio- Ensure availability of the products on time in the different warehouses- Create replenishment orders to ensure correct stock level- Keep efficient level of stock minimizing storage costs.- Simulate stock projection to take corrective action avoiding out of stock in the markets.

Portfolio Management:

- Follow-up of all new introduction in the market- Ensure portfolio is properly maintained in the systems- Minimize Lost of Goods Destroyed costs. Process / Optimization- Define process & Procedures required for these tasks- Define optimization plan- Implement solutions on redundant issues faced.

qualification

Strong analytical skills ? autonomous in the daily jobExpert in MS ExcelFluent in English (written & spoken)Engineer degree or Economics degree.3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations.Proficiency with SAP (or other ERP) APO Planning tools
