Randstad is proud of helping UCB find the right fit for this opportunity.This mission will start with a less than 3 months training and work in UCB's R&D site in Slough (UK), and then come back to Bulle site for 3 to 6 months. This mission is part of a joint project between the two sites of Slough (UK) and Bulle.Part of your work is to contribute by:Performing microbial process development experiments, in 2L to 5L reactors, for the improvement of existing processes at lab and pilot scale;Trending and analyzing laboratory data; presenting results to your line manager, development tean and project team is part of your duty;Contributing to the maintenance and housekeeping of a safe laboratory working enviornment is an essential part of the role (HSE). qualification Demonstrated expertise in the operation of lab and pilot scale microbial processes, including the use of various bioreactor systems;Ability to design and perform process development experiments as well as excellent data interpretation, drawing of conclusions and proposals for further work;Proficiency in written and spoken English;Ability to learn and use appropriate data management concepts and tools;Ability to author comprehensive and accurate protocols/reports;Experience with high throughput technologies, automation, miniaturization, statistics and/or programming is a plus;Having a sound understanding of E. coli physiology and behavior is preferred. partager: Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Xing
