LifeScan is a division of Cilag GmbH International; both companies belong to Johnson & Johnson family of companies. LifeScan is engaged in the manufacturing, global distribution and marketing of blood glucose monitoring systems (BGM) for patients with Diabetes. Operations span across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Canada, USA, Asia Pacific and Latin America and our vision is to create a world without limits for people with Diabetes.

After having completed the strategic assessment the final binding offer from Platinum Equity has been accepted by Johnson & Johnson in June 2018. The separation of the business will be performed in phased approach. In Q4.2018 the Day 1 countries will be moved and then in course of 2019 the Day 2 ones. To support this very important and critical transition a Day 2 Finance team under the overall J&J Acquisition and Divestiture organization has been established. Main scope of the Day 2 Finance Team is the overall coordination of all financial aspects in the areas of Accounting, Planning, Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis.  The Day 2 Finance Team will be the key interface between Johnson & Johnson and the standalone Finance organization of Lifescan.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring monthly timely BRAVO submissions
  • Act as liaison for affiliates and intercompany team to reconcile the month end intercompany balances for the franchise
  • Ensure a smooth Interface between our transaction system JDE and compliance system SAP
  • Responsible for monthly closing of the AGP LifeScan P&Ls according to J&J World Wide Procedures
  • IC Royalties calculation
  • Year-end profitability & subsidy calculations
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, J&J World Wide Procedures and Internal Control Handbook
  • Participate in sales order check and audit reports
  • Find & implement solutions in a complex deal environment


Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Finance & Economics
  • 1-3 years finance/accounting experience, including business planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiar with ERP and reporting systems (JDE, SAP, BPC) an advantage
  • Ability to work multi-national environment
  • Knowledge of J&J Worldwide Procedures, Internal Control Handbook, Bravo reporting, and revenue recognition an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
