Shopping Transactions Customer Support, Content Specialist

Location: Zurich

Description: As a Content Specialist for the Shopping Transactions Customer Support, you’ll help drive the development of clear, user-friendly Help Center and canned response copy for the customers.

Your role is to deliver help content and to develop innovative, proactive user education. You’ll work on the creation of online help material and make sure it’s engaging, user-focused, up-to-date, and following established standards for web content. You’ll also assist in the development of canned responses used by agents to ensure they are answering customer questions quickly, effectively, accurately, and in adherence to the company's style. You’ll shape the aforementioned content development and maintenance strategies, set content quality standards, and scale proven best practices in order to increase customer comprehension and engagement, and proactive issue resolution.

Required qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in online content production, editing, or marketing communications for consumer-focused communications
  • Expert command of writing concise, user-focused copy that proactively answers questions and drives in-product trust and engagement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and impeccable business judgment
  • BA/BS degree in French or Journalism, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and to mentor junior team members


  • Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the Content Manager and Product Managers to write and edit help center articles and canned responses ensuring style guide standards are followed
  • Ensures a consistent and timely completion of all writing assignments
  • Understands and works cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders to identify the critical success factors
  • Escalates when appropriate on potential roadblocks and follows up in a timely, committed manner
