description du poste

Our client is looking for a Head of Projects. You'll be looking after 3 product managers in their Zürich office and making sure they have all they need to be successful. This is a new role and one that ultimately is aimed to organically grow into a position on the management team.   The company produces websites and products for some of the big names in Switzerland (and elsewhere) and you'll have a lot of variety to work on, from projects for logistics companies, to possibly the website design and build for events which are shown on TV to millions. All of this in a company of around 50 people in several boutique offices in a number of countries.

The role:

  • Be a team lead, a counsel, and a role model for the Product Owners
  • Be the point of contact for the customer - This means you should be someone which can explain technical topics with people like me. (in the sense of the less jargon the better)
  • Take a big part in beauty parades and pre-sales
  • The final gate keeper prior to release of product
  • Be curious about project processes and have the urge to improve the status quo with new ideas
  • Own the whole portfolio of projects and report directly to the CEO

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner
  • Team leadership experience
  • You hold a good understanding of web development and its technologies. You don't need to be a developer, you won't be coding, but knowledge is important
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Strong knowledge of German and English
  • Get stuff done

The company know how to look after their employees. So on top of your salary and the best coffee machine this side of the Limmat, you'll be given a hardware budget for yourself every 2 years, a yearly sports budget for you to buy a new bicycle, or join a gym, and a budget which you may put towards education and/or personal development. Maybe you want to learn a new tech, or a new language.. it's covered.

Unfortunately, due to Swiss Employment Law we will only be able to consider applications from citizens of EU-25 countries, or those already holding a Swiss Work Permit, or the Swiss of course.

That's all for now folks, have a good day!  Matt
