description du poste

We are looking for an entrepreneur, or at least a developer with a entrepreneur mindset, for our client, but "what do you mean by entrepreneur mindset?" I hear you say.. well, I am glad you asked.  Our client is an established Real Estate company in Zürich, having been here since its foundation in 1999, and they want to take their product(s) on to the next level. However, the very successful management team so far, are not IT experts, and this is what they need to make the company move forward. Someone who can both conceive of ideas to improve their products, and yet also pragmatically advise them as to what is possible from a technical stand point.

You will be given a lot of freedom when it comes to product development, tech stacks, and process, and so, I hope this explains the need for an entrepreneurial mindset : ) The role:

  • Conceptual thinking for product development opportunities
  • Key technical point of contact in the company for IT related topics
  • Development and maintenance of an existing source code
  • Providing and integrating state of the art technologies into the development environment
  • Linking the software developments to the ERP system
  • Technical lead and recruitment of small team of 5 members in Poland
  • Travel to meet your team in Warsaw once a month

  • Practical experience in all phases of software development (analysis, design, specification, implementation, integration, testing)
  • 5 years’ experience with Java technologies as a developer
  • Good General Knowledge of Infrastructure topics (importantly, how this would limit or help future product ideas/development)
  • Strong language skills — fluency in English is required; German is a plus

If this interests you then go ahead and apply. We welcome your application.  *Unfortunately, due to Swiss Employment Law we are currently only able to consider applications from citizens of EU/EFTA-25, or those with already existing work permission in Switzerland.
