Randstad Professionals is representing the “white collar”- driven recruitment business division of the Giant Randstad Group worldwide. In our Zürich-based team, we specialize in permanent and contracting recruitment for IT, Finance & Accounting and HR Solutions.

Sales Consultant in IT Recruitment  

We want to start by mentioning that this search is very important for us. Not only because of the focus of the role, but because we are looking to grow our IT Recruitment Permanent team in Zürich Oerlikon. We are now a group of 3 complex individuals with different personalities and skills, that somehow, manage to complete each other in a positive and funny way. But, like the 3 Musketeers, we feel that something is missing - maybe our d'Artagnan. We are keen to find a new person to join us, and we are now starting to look for that special someone.


As in any sales oriented position, yes, the experience is important. However, your main asset should be your personality. We are fun, and we need you to be fun also. We are not only looking for the typical Recruitment Consultant, we really hope to find someone who has passion, drive, and is “fire and flames” for getting in the game, conquer clients and win the trust of candidates.

  • You will spend your Mondays to Fridays juggling between clients and candidates and expanding your network on both ends

  • You will be managing your own business, take over a cold desk, proactively approach and win clients from the Swiss-German region, meet them, network with them and support them in fulfilling their permanent IT-related vacancies

  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the recruitment processes

  • You will use your creative mindset to create attractive job advertisements for your clients’ openings, interview, and select candidates and present qualified shortlists

  • You will maintain and develop candidates hotlist and pools


Is this reminding you of yourself?

  • You have a higher education degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or another relevant field

  • You are a natural sales person and you have already a solid background in the recruitment industry, ideally with focus on IT

  • You are proactive, ambitious, driven, and, most important, not afraid to pick up the phone!  

  • You are resilient and persevering. You know that your career is in your hands, and with the support of a cool team and a supporting management, you will continue your path until we will, together, celebrate our success at the end of each year

  • You speak fluent English and German

  • You are either a Swiss national or a local Swiss resident with a valid work permit
