rgent position 

One of our client, an international Medical Devices company is urgently looking for a Supply Planner - Supply Chain - Temporary until February-March 2019. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Reach inventory targets by driving alignment among all key stakeholders involved in the process
  • Constantly support Loss on Goods Destroyed (LOGD) reduction by clear established process and proactive actions and plan to achieve.
  • Ensure that Market demand will be met while optimizing the factory load. Follow up on mid and short term plans and targets through a well-established Sales and  Operations Planning meeting structure
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders any deviation to the plan, agree action plan and timely follow the established escalation procedures in case of business risk
  • Ensure that the guidelines shared with Markets & Factories are in place and properly customized to have clarity on process, roles and responsibility and KPI’s targets
  • Ensure adherence to the Service Level Agreement in terms of process and agreed targets timely report deviation to stakeholders.
  • Performs Work Order maintenance to ensure accurate representation of material issuance to the work orders. This includes but not limited to, manual allocation of parts and quantity modification of issued parts.
  • Provides all information needed from a sequencing reporting stand point, being customer focused.
  • Achieves on a daily basis a charge vs capacity analysis based on detailed demand and actual resources in order to schedule accordingly.
  • Maintains all master data related to the scheduling activities (Work Centers, MRP parameters etc...).

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in production planning and / or purchasing is an asset.
  • Experience within an industrial manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Good knowledge of SAP (PP/DS) or an ERP - must
  • Detail orientated, strong interpersonal skills and customer focused
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain and inventory management concepts (minimum 3 years of experience)
  • University degree in relevant field
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written is a must
  • SAP (or other ERP), excellent knowledge of Excel
