description du poste

Main Tasks: 

  • Responsible for developing and performing routine analytical techniques such as: charged variants by capillary (imaged and non-imaged) systems, size variants by capillary based systems and Spectrophotometry. Additionally, experience with other techniques like Differential Scanning Calorimetry, ELISA is a plus.

  • Responsible for instruments’ operation, calibration, maintenance, setting up new methods and equipment; method improvements, providing project support, communicating project progress, writing and updating of operating procedures

  • Be responsible for all aspects of method development, qualification, data acquisition, data analysis, and data interpretation

  • Troubleshooting issues with instruments and methods

  • Responsible for authoring of analytical reports

  • Responsible for planning of experiments and delivery of results according to budget and project timelines

  • Manage performance and development of personnel (2-3) to ensure achievement of department goals and motivation for high productivity

Qualification:

  • Advanced degree in analytical biochemistry or equivalent field of study

  • Several years' relevant work experience in analytical biochemistry in the pharma or biotech industry

  • Strong background and technical skills in protein/mAb/antibodies analytics

  • Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail, in a highly organized manner

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written

  • Extensive hands on experience in protein analytical methods

  • Proactive, flexible, open-minded, willing-to-learn and sharing attitude

  • Fluency in English; French or German would be assets
