One of our Global client in Medical Devices is looking for a Technical Support Manager EMEAI. You will be reporting to the Director Global Technical Support.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Managing the customer's team of highly specialized technical support specialists
  • Leading the Global Technical Escalation process, applying problem solving skills to ensure customer needs are met and ensuring that all sales and field service associates are fully supported 
  • Interacting with various departments on all support and management levels as well as with customers over a vast geography
  • Responsible for local support strategy and plans, preparing the local service organizations
  • Driving improvement for key service processes throughout the region
  • Managing all training activities associated to the European Training Center
  • Building and developing a team of capable problem solvers that can work independently and collaboratively with other functional groups
  • Being responsible for the customer service, a clear advocate for the customer (internal and external) and a steward for the company
  • Understanding of the customer perception and the associated business impacts, and being commercially capable of resolving customer issues in a rapid fashion

Qualification:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful technical management experience, Strong leadership skills
  • Sense of urgency, must have the drive/motivation to take action and ensure customer needs are addressed promptly 
  • Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales, Service) and generate actionable insights
  • Willing to travel 20-40% of the time to support technical support
  • Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering or Business
  • Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement via Lean Six Sigma methods
  • Excellent English (written and oral), French, German or Italian would be an asset
