Your role:

As Senior DevOps Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the architecture, development, and operative maintenance of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Also, you work on our strategic projects and provide support for incident management and changes.



Your responsibilities:
  • Operate our Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments incl. surrounding systems
  • Design and implement enhancements related to the existing environments
  • Engineer solutions oriented to operational improvements and project requirements
  • Perform system engineering activities together with the team
  • Provide second-level support as part of the existing support organization and responsibilities
  • Member of the on-call organization

Your profile:
  • University degree in computer science or business informatics, or adequate professional experience with further education
  • 3 years of practical experience in automation (e.g. Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform)
  • Good knowledge and experience of Kubernetes clusters based on Red Hat OpenShift (SDN, Service Mesh, Security, etc.)
  • Good Linux knowledge (preferably RHEL/CentOS) including scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Fluency in English, and German is a plus
