Role overview:

The position owner will be the single point of contact for head office colleagues (end-users). The role will have the drive to help and support end-users, ensuring their IT equipment is working well. The IT Service Desk Executive Supporter will deploy, support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, IT infrastructure and peripherals in the corporate office, whilst remotely providing assistance and support to all users.

Your tasks:

  • Providing IT (1st & 2nd level) support in the broadest sense possible
  • Having a proactive and participative approach for solving first and second level setup, handling and operations issues for head office colleagues (IOS, Android, OSX, Windows, Office 365, etc)
  • Managing and coordinating all head office related IT issues with higher tier European IT support (IT SPOC)
  • Being responsible for readiness of use of all IT and technical equipment
  • Being responsible for IT MRE (maintenance, repair, replacement)
  • Managing and training head office admin staff on any changes to company IT/software landscape
  • Managing support for related IT systems (e.g. time management systems, key card systems, etc).


  • Technical and commercial education with further education in information technology
  • Proven work experience in a comparable position
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the IT infrastructure, user devices (hardware and software), network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) and IT security systems as well as operating systems, business applications, printing systems and cybersecurity basics
  • Excellent know-how of common IT tools (IOS, Android, Windows, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of ITIL and process management
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Strong ability to set up new equipment's and upgrading existing systems
  • Proactive and participative approach for solving operational issues
  • Very good communication skills in English and German
  • Customer and team oriented personality
  • Well organized, proactive and self-motivated
  • Driving license category B

In this function you are reporting to the Head of IT Service Manager (abroad) and are the Single point of contact for all IT related questions at the newly build Headquarters in the heart of Zug.
