Are you an engineering specialist? We are looking for an Electrical Drive Systems Project Engineer (f/m/d) for one of the leading engineering company in their branch in Winterthur.
 

Your Responsibilities

  • Requirement engineering for the medium and low voltage electric motors, drives and power distribution equipment with respect to project specifications and international norms

  • Integration of the electrical drive system design within the scope of Burckhardt Compressor System Engineering (electrical, mechanical and instrumentation)

  • Review vendor documentation against project specifications and compressor requirements during inquiry and project execution phase

  • Monitor production and delivery schedule to ensure compliance with project deadlines and budget

  • Take part in factory acceptance testing at global supplier locations to ensure quality and deliverables

  • Provide technical and commercial sales support during sales phase

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor or Master)

  • Knowledge in application of electric drives (frequency converters, soft starters) and ideally power distribution equipment (MV switchgears, transformers)

  • Knowledge of international norms and standards for electric motors and explosive atmospheres would be an advantage

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Good German skills are an advantage

  • Good skills in MS Office tools and basic SAP knowledge would be an advantage
