Are you open for a new project?

A renowned international technology company in Zurich is looking for an UX Writer specialist for a temporal bridging of a paternal leave.

The company's mission is to empower businesses in the retail ecosystem to successfully achieve their marketing goals through advertising by providing advertiser experiences (both directly and via partners) that connect advertisers with their prospective customers and lead to great advertising performance.

 

Tasks / Aufgaben:

  • Develop content strategy for 3 focus areas
  • Drive end to end performance for larger retailers that already advertise with the client
  • Meet merchants where they are through powerful integrations in the ecommerce ecosystem, in particular storebuilders
  • Support merchants on Marketplaces to get the most out of Ads
  • Consult with partner teams across the company, including marketing and Sales to align on content strategy within the 3 focus areas. 
  • Write clear, concise user-interface text for products. Articulate complex, technical concepts clearly and without jargon. Act as a subject matter expert (a company “go to”) for user experience writing.
  • Revise or create educational content, internal resources, standards, and other reference materials the product teams will use to create equitable products for everyone.
  • Collaborate with Designers, Researchers, UX Engineers, Product Managers, and Engineers to define requirements. 
  • Manage projects, priorities, stakeholders.
  • Create and curate writing guidelines for our teams, and train teammates as needed.
  • 50% content / 50% strategy
 

Requirements / Anforderungen

Must have: 

  • 3 years of experience in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects. 
  • Experience on UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects. 
  • Portfolio highlighting UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines.
 

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge in Google Ads 
  • Knowledge in Google Business-facing tools 
  • Knowledge in Google Ecommerce
  • Experience writing and developing content strategy for merchant-facing ecommerce surfaces, including settings, dialogs, and UI elements 
  • Experience with online advertising 
  • Experience with Google Ads 
  • Experience with enterprise software and complex systems 
  • Experience with working in large design systems and aligning requirements of different design systems 
  • Familiarity with user experience research principles and practices 
  • Ability to collaborate and influence (without formal authority) engineering, design, and product management teams 
 

Environment / Umgebung:

  • 5 UX Designers
  • UX Researchers
  • Your stakeholders: PMs / UXDs / Marketing / documentation helpcenters
