For a temporary assignment in the Leaf Processing & Technology Department of our client, the company Philip Morris International, based in Lausanne, we are seeking for a:

Coordinator Leaf Quality Management Systems

Job purpose

We are looking for a Coordinator to work in our Leaf operations, who will develop, promote and oversee application of the Leaf Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure specific requirements are integrated. This professional will coordinate the activities to verify adherence to quality system requirements thru the global leaf supply chain by means of quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices while facilitating continuous improvement.

Duties to be performed

  • Map Leaf quality processes by establishing product and process flows and quality attributes, assessing adherence and documenting evidence.

  • Verify compliance with requirements, quality policies and standards, regulatory and external standards where applicable, by means of participating and/or leading assessments and audits.

  • Develop and deploy Quality System trainings to PMI Leaf team (located at the Operations Center and Regional Offices), suppliers and affiliates.

  • Prepare internal organization and suppliers for internal and external inspections, audits or assessments. Keep training and other related records up-to-date.

  • Coordinate process for customer complaints, collaborating with other members of the Leaf team to follow-up and timely close all complaints

  • Bring together all Leaf functions to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality system processes and documents. Develop and update documentation when needed.


  • 3-5 years’ experience in QA and/or Manufacturing environment

  • Experience with development and deployment of Quality Management systems

  • Experience with ISO standards

  • Well-developed project management skills

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing practices a plus
