For the Digital Implementation department of our client, Philip Morris International based in Lausanne, we are seeking for a:

Editorial Planning Lead

You will be responsible for scoping, coordinating and overviewing the delivery of content and feature implication for the IQOS Website and IQOS App.

The core responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of a company-wide digital editorial calendar as well as market individual calendars by providing structure and process to make content delivery more efficient. You will serve as liaison between OC and local markets to align activities.

You will ensure the delivery of all assets in a timely manner as well as improving the process with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.

Additionally, you will aim to ensure that the most comprehensive knowledge of content and performance is provided to market stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities

  • Have regular status calls with markets (e.g., general feedback, improvement, concerns)

  • Ensure that policies and procedures are in place

  • Oversee daily execution of digital content editorial calendar

  • Plan, manage, and execute monthly digital content priorities campaigns

  • Communicate updates on ongoing projects, outstanding questions/requests, while raising concerns on projects that could impact the digital team or priorities

  • Identify issues, manage stakeholder expectations, and offer recommendations for solutions or workarounds based on knowledge of priorities, development roadmap, and contributing factors

  • Review the current state of processes, tools and stakeholder, and identify areas of improvement and gaps to be filled

  • Upskill other team members as well as markets for the purposes of process and insights generation. Proactively sharing knowledge through written and verbal communication and providing informal training when appropriate

  • Coordinate ad-hoc projects

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their timeline requirements and ensure that web / app is effectively covering their needs.

  • Educate colleagues from different Business Units on the editorial calendar.


  • Experience in working successfully in a global, multicultural organization, with cross-functional projects

  • Expert in editorial planning, able to transfer skills

  • Strong project management skills, organization skills and documentation skills

  • Collaborative in nature: a team player who is experienced in developing very strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and can successfully work independently

  • Design thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to think outside the box.

  • Proven ability to work effectively across functions

  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects at the same time

  • Advanced Communication, relationship building skills and customer-centric thinking

  • Creative thinking and digital marketing understanding

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing, Management, Communications or Business Management

  • Fluent written and spoken English (additional languages welcomed)
