For our Shared Finance Organization based in Solothurn we are looking for a highly motivated Junior Intercompany Accountant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Intercompany Purchase and Sales Orders

  • Close activities including accrual postings

  • Business partnering with controlling, R&D, commercial and other groups to properly record the transactions

  • Intercompany reconciliation and reporting - Full responsibility for certain affiliate account reconciliation and business partnering (/200 affiliates)

  • Cleaning of Goods receipt not invoiced by assisting the matching of invoices in the shared service in Czech Republic

  • Monitor the accounts payable, accounts receivable balance positions and KPIs

  • Involvement in improvement projects

  • Backup of General Ledger Team


  • University/ Bachelor Degree or Equivalent or completed KV with further education.

  • First insight knowledge in finance and/or accounting

  • SAP knowledge (FI/CO) is desirable

  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn fast

  • Proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) required

  • Stress resistance, flexibility and sense of priority to handle tasks and deadlines

  • ?Can do? attitude: ability to manage complex and ambiguous situation

  • Fluent in English and German, French is an asset
