For a temporary assignment to support the Information & Technology team of our client, the company Philip Morris International in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

Manager Social Media Care

Long term assignment

Over the past three years, Philip Morris International has made a dramatic shift away from the marketing and sales of combustible cigarettes, and moved towards its Reduced-Risk Product (RRP) portfolio, focusing on its flagship product, IQOS. This product is PMI's step forward to creating a smoke-free future for legal age consumers who want to continue to enjoy tobacco, but are seeking smoke-free alternatives. To support this shift, PMI has embarked on an organization-wide transformation in ways of working, culture, and strategy. And because customers are at the center of all we do, our Business-to-Customer (B2C) channels plays a critical role in the success of our RRPs around the world.

We our aim is to provide the best care services for our global IQOS customers. That's why we are building a strong team of experts in our global Operations Center to listen to and understand what our customers need, and to develop the right services and channels to provide care anytime, anywhere.

Social Media Care is a key part of our strategy and we need an experienced professional to lead the global program and bring it to the next level.

For our B2C Customer Care team in Lausanne we are therefore looking for a Manager Social Care.

You will:

· Define PMI Customer Care's Social Media Care strategy across markets and channels

· Drive the overall expansion of our Social Media Care channels, ensuring we are present in the right markets and channels, as well as work with markets to shift care contacts to digital care channels

· Establish the right Social Media Care practices across markets to drive customer retention and loyalty, including setting global targets and following on performance

· Develop global care content and campaigns for markets, and provide a coordinated calendar of communications across care channels

· Lead new projects, and coordinate with cross functional business and digital teams to ensure alignment with key stakeholders


  • 5-8 years of experience in a B2C environment, with a focus on Social Media
  • 5+ years of experience managing social / digital projects in a matrix organization
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and management
  • Good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing
  • Experience with campaign planning, content design, and execution
  • Experience in the use of third-party social media enterprise management tools
  • Experience working successfully in a global, multicultural organization
  • Strong organization and project management skills
