Randstad has over 55 years of experience in the area of HR Management. Under the Randstad Inhouse Services concept, Randstad becomes a full service supplier providing consultancy to international clients. For our client Philip Morris SA in Neuchâtel, we are seeking an:

Training Specialist - Quality Assurance, GxP training

Temporary long-term assignment at 100%

Responsible to plan, conduct, and administer GxP & ISO training programs in order to ensure that global PMI employees are knowledgeable, qualified and adhere to internal procedures and requirements related to their functional role. Responsible for developing, supporting and improving training programs. In addition, is also responsible to provide a support to end users on the Learning Management System and is responsible for working with internal and external customers to ensure compliant use of the systems. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers or instructors.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and streamline processes related to competences and training management programs, identify improvement opportunities and develop respective documentation (SOP/WKIs)
  • Develop, implement and maintain training programs for internal customers (create exams, provide train-the-trainer training, user guides, etc.)
  • Ensure that Training Programs (qualification matrices) for which in charge are up-to date, reviewed and approved regularly
  • Act as the functions’ point-of-contact with regards to the Learning Management System and respective training programs
  • Support users and administrators in regards to Learning Management System, initiate improvement of the system to meet the business and users’ needs
  • Identify and develop curriculum and assist authors, subject matter experts and process owners to create course contents (training materials, learning modules, etc.) within the Learning Management System
  • Organize and deliver training sessions on training solutions and quality system elements using classroom training, hands-on training and other training formats
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs and records to ensure they are current and effective. Provide training system metrics and analysis as needed as part of quality management reviews
  • Coordinating enrollment of new employees to ensure their training needs are identified and assigned.


  • Bachelor or University degree in Science or Engineering
  • 3-5 years related experience with electronic learning management systems and managing training programs required
  • Experience with MasterControl software is a plus
  • Substantial experience in life science industry (Pharma, Med Device or other regulated life science industry)
  • Experience in working with e-learning software is a plus
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English both oral and written, French is an asset.
