Are you looking for a challenging job as a Cloud DevOps Engineer?Do you have experience working in Industry 4.0? Would you like to work in the manufacturing sector? Our client is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer, who would ensure automated deployment and high availability of the cloud applications of the company in the headquarters in Biel.As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be reporting to the Head of Innovation and R&D Manager  and working in the Agile environment. Moreover, you will be delivering cloud applications for the IoT environment. Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement tools and processes to facilitate the deployment of the cloud applications
  • Automate and manage deployment, testing, and continuous integration of the cloud applications
  • Create new processes to measure the application's effectiveness and detect areas for the improvement 
  • Collaborate with the respective stakeholders to ensure the applications environments follow the security guidelines and standards
  • Work in collaboration with 2nd level support to identify and solve customer incidents
Desired Profile:
  • Bachelors / Masters in informatics, system engineering, computer science, or similar
  • Min. 5 years of experience in software engineering 
  • Proven experience and a strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with automation tools, CI/CD, and Puppet
  • Very good knowledge of programming languages: Java, C# or C++
  • Handling continuous integration environments using build server solutions like MS Azure, DevOps, Atlassian, Bamboo, Jenkins
  • Fluent in English and any other language like French, German, or Italian is considered a plus
  • Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, unit-testing, and test-driven development
