We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and communicative candidate as Assistant Treasurer (f/m) 100% for our Treasury team located in Zürich-Oerlikon.

About the department

The group treasury department, located in Diemen (Randstad headquarters), Singapore and Zürich, is responsible for maintaining financial stability throughout the cycle, arranging funding, maintaining bank relations, managing foreign currency positions, interest positions and liquidity positions on Randstad group level.

The key working areas of the group treasury department are corporate finance, financial risk management, cash management and reporting. The group treasury department needs to anticipate continuously the strong demands and requirements of the Randstad organization, its customers and financial markets.

 

About your future job

In this role you are instrumental in managing the cash and debt of Randstad within the group as efficient as possible. Funding (internal and external) should be available for all payments at the right place and time while minimizing the costs involved. On top of that, you are part of a team generating treasury reporting for its stakeholders. The reporting should be lean, timely and over time adjusted in order to satisfy the objectives and audience.

 

This includes the following key activities:

  • Collecting, consolidating, verifying and analyzing cash flow forecasts, which are provided by Randstad’s operating companies

  • Efficient global daily cash management including execution and supervision of treasury transactions, as well as managing Randstad’s FX positions

  • Arranging and / or restructuring of intra group funding while applying intercompany pricing policies  

  • Joint responsibility for maintenance and integrity of all data in Randstad’s treasury management system, in which all external and internal positions and interest results are registered

  • Monthly reconciliation of treasury management system with accounting system in collaboration with back office

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly treasury reporting to the Executive Board and other HQ staff departments. This requires collecting, processing and analyzing data

  • Control on efficient bank account and - guarantee management worldwide

  • Treasury related projects (e.g. netting solutions, fintech in treasury, etc.)



 

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business administration / economics (or similar)

  • 2-3 years of treasury experience and preferably in an international environment

  • Strong command in spoken and written English is a must

  • IT skills (MS office and Bellin TM5 is preferred)

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Communicative personality
