LifeScan is a division of Cilag GmbH International; both companies belong to Johnson & Johnson family of companies. LifeScan is engaged in the manufacturing, global distribution and marketing of blood glucose monitoring systems (BGM) for patients with diabetes. Operations span across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Canada, USA, Asia Pacific and Latin America and our vision is to create a world without limits for people with diabetes. The LifeScan Supply Chain Finance team supports global operations for Diabetes Care Companies and operates in a multi-national and multi-currency environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for variance analysis / budget vs. actuals analysis on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Key business partner for the S&OP team and responsible for all matters related to volume
  • Drive process efficiencies
  • Freight and Warehousing cost analysis and cost improvement programs
  • Fixed asset and project monitoring / controlling
  • Support of the yearly business planning cycle and regular financial plan update
  • Partner with various inhouse stakeholders to identify, execute and track Cost Improvement Programs (CIPs)
  • Ensure SOX compliance requirements are consistently met and participate in internal and external audits
  • Responsible for master data and system integrity
  • Driving insight into currency related variances and generate analysis for management
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to management in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business to support
  • Support Leadership Team with value-adding analysis
  • Partner with the manufacturing location to drive insights and ensure financial commitments are met

Qualifikation

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Finance & Economics
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical background in accounting, including business planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiar with ERP and reporting systems (JDE, SAP, BPC)
  • Ability to work multi-national environment
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
  • Takes personal responsibility for decisions and delivering results
  • Challenges the status quo to identify ways of doing things better and faster
  • Ability to work under stress due to very tight timelines and short-term changes in priority setting in a fast changing environment
  • Builds strong, productive relationships with other groups in the organization and demonstrates the ability to work with teams and individuals
  • Communicates effectively in an international environment with different levels of a global organization

This role based in Zug, Switzerland will initially be limited to approx. 12 months with the opportunity to be extended to a permanent role.
