Recruitment Lead IT & Engineering

Reporting to: Team Leader


Leading and inspiring a team of 8 recruiters in the IT & Engineering sector; focusing on mid/high job profiles.

As a leader, you are in charge of the quality and delivery of CVs, development of your team, design the best sourcing strategies depending on the priorities and/or the workload, and need to grow the team energy or build the team dynamic to serve the client at best.

Job purpose

People Manager responsible for leading the team in an inspirational manner and steering the recruiters in their recruitment activities to generate results.

leading through:

  • building up talent in sourcing, hunting, and selecting top candidates for specialists and middle and top management positions

  • ensuring effective buckets of top candidates are built so that the Consultants achieve her/his targets

  • creation of a social network, in order to be perceived as a reference by the market

Main accountabilities:

The main accountability areas for this position are:

  1. developing, supporting, and motivating a team of recruiters

  2. ensuring effective Sourcing

  3. leading Recruitment and collaboration efforts with Professionals Consultants

  4. accurate Administration & reporting & process management


Education & languages

  • University, bachelor's degree or equivalent professional & intellectual ability

  • English on a proficient level (oral and written)

  • Fluency in German or French. Knowledge of the other national language is an asset


  • Ideally a first successful experience in leading a team

  • Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised

  • requisition management, and/or a consultative recruiting role as the direct, primary Hiring Manager point of contact.

  • Role model, experience in a candidate generation role, producing candidate pipelines, and having a proven track record of hiring success.

  • Demonstrated track record of understanding clients' functional/technical hiring needs and translating those into effective candidate generation strategies (passive and active).

  • Preferably experienced in a specific area of expertise depending on the client's needs.


  • Knowledge of social media and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Job boards, and professional organizations.

  • Knowledge of search techniques e.g boolean search

  • Sourcing and screening methodologies.

  • Preferably knowledge of employment branding and position value proposition creation.

  • Preferably EMEA cross-border talent sourcing and international recruitment practices with local in-country cultural awareness.
